This work depicts reflections on sexuality and power dynamics in male-female relations using the space of a public bathroom (a place of anonymity and sincerity).

At the intersection between deep sensibility and vulgarity lies an allegorical story of a birdie (Romanian slang for pussy/ vagina) and a worm (typical metaphor for sperm). The story explores the communications between them, ranging from “normal” interactions to abusive ones, from patriarchal issues to female vanity.

The birdie sexual metaphor satisfies a power dynamic of domination from male to female while simultaneously empowering the woman over the insignificant sperm/worm.
